Job summary

AustCorp Executive in Sydney is seeking a Service Technician to support BMS and Building Automation systems. You will configure, program and service controls, optimise energy efficiency, and engage with clients on upgrades and commissioning.

The role offers regional travel in NSW, a market salary, superannuation, and a full employee package including a company vehicle.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in programming and commissioning BMS/HVAC systems.
• Knowledge of IP networking and communications.
• Familiar with BACnet and Modbus protocols.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and plant operating instructions.

Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled service and updates for BMS and Building Automation.
• Configure and program BMS/HVAC control systems.
• Carry out routine maintenance in a regional area to improve energy efficiency.
• Support commissioning and small project works as needed.
• Liaise with clients to discuss upgrades and building efficiency.
• Produce accurate service reports.

My client is a leading building automation and energy management expert who pride themselves on their exceptional offerings which comprise of: Providing completely customised service installing, designing, upgrading, commissioning and end to end project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled service & updates for BMS and Building Automation.
• Configuration and programming of BMS/HVAC control systems.
• Carry out scheduled routine maintenance in a specific region improving energy efficiency.
• Diverse role which can include commissioning and small project works.
• Liaising with clients recommending upgrades, integration and building efficiency.
• Report Writing - Producing accurate service reports.
• Respond to client service requests, programming and point to point scheduling.
• Relationship building and support with existing and new customer service.
• Investigating and diagnosing faults
• Providing technical support & Commissioning Reports as required

Essential Skills, Knowledge and Experience

• Proven experience in programming and commissioning BMS/HVAC systems
• Extensive knowledge and understanding of IP related protocols, networking and communications
• Strong knowledge of Controls Protocols including BACnet and Modbus
• Ability to read wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, standards and plant operating instructions
• Restricted Electrical Licence
• Current Australian Drivers Licence
