Qualifications

• 2+ years in estimating or engineering for BAS, HVAC, or electrical systems.
• Ability to read construction drawings and specs.
• Proficient in Excel, Word and estimating software.

Responsibilities

• Review RFPs, plans, and scope documents for BAS projects.
• Develop cost estimates for controls, hardware, software, labour and subcontracts.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering and operations to align proposals with project requirements.
• Conduct site visits to validate scope.
• Prepare detailed scopes of work, budgets and equipment schedules.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering options.
• Maintain pricing database and update estimating tools.
• Support pre-sales with client questions and tender prep.
• Track multiple estimates and meet deadlines.
