Job summary

Department of Parliamentary Services is seeking a Broadcasting Systems Support Supervisor in the Digital Recording Services Branch to oversee broadcasting and communication systems at Australian Parliament House. The role requires leadership, technical expertise in broadcasting equipment, and the ability to work under time constraints while maintaining high service standards.

A Negative Vetting 1 security clearance is required, with support for flexible work arrangements and professional

Qualifications

Appropriate qualifications or licenses (e.g. Advanced Diploma of Engineering - Electronics), or equivalent experience.
Accreditation in worksite access (e.g. White Card), Elevated Working Platforms and Confined Space access.
Must obtain/maintain Negative Vetting 1 security clearance.

Responsibilities

Supervise a team of technical officers and coordinate day-to-day operations of broadcasting and communication systems in APH.
Undertake repairs, maintenance, and installation of broadcast and related equipment in Parliament House.
Liaise with clients to address requirements or issues and ensure timely, professional delivery of services.
Perform technical tasks to ensure efficient, cost-effective broadcasting operations.
Contribute to continuous improvement by developing standard operating procedures and reports.
