Job summary

Seven West Media’s Sydney Broadcast Support team is seeking a technically curious specialist to maintain and support studio, production and broadcast IT systems during live programming.

You’ll troubleshoot, install and administer broadcast and IP-based technology, work with 2110 IP tech, and ensure seamless operations for Sunrise, The Morning Show, 7NEWS and major live events in a 24/7 rotating roster.

Qualifications

• Experience with broadcast technology, including TV systems, broadcast IT, IP networking.
• Knowledge of basic electronics and hands-on troubleshooting.
• Proactive learning mindset and desire to develop specialist expertise.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, and support broadcast production systems and equipment across studios and control rooms.
• Diagnose and resolve issues quickly to maximise system availability during live productions.
• Install and administer broadcast and IP-based technology systems, including software, networks, and user accounts.
• Collaborate with production teams, vendors, and third-party support to resolve faults and upgrades.
• Contribute to ongoing improvement through maintenance, documentation, and system monitoring.
