Job summary

Seven West Media's Sydney Broadcast Support team is seeking a technically curious professional to maintain and support studio, production and broadcast IT systems in a fast-paced, live environment. You'll work with the latest IP-based technologies, troubleshoot issues, and ensure seamless operations across Sunrise, The Morning Show, 7NEWS and major live events.

Qualifications

Experience or strong knowledge of broadcast technology, including television systems, broadcast IT, IP networking, and basic electronics.
Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced, live production environment.
Strong communication, teamwork, and documentation skills.
Hands-on capability in Windows/Linux administration and hardware maintenance.
Proactive learning mindset and interest in new technologies.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and understanding of digital/TV landscape.

Responsibilities

Maintain, repair, and support broadcast production systems and equipment across studios, control rooms, editing, ingest, graphics, MCR, and broadcast IT infrastructure.
Diagnose and resolve technical issues quickly to maximise system availability and support live productions.
Install, commission, configure, and administer broadcast and IP-based technology systems, including software, networks, and user accounts.
Work with production teams, vendors, and third-party support to resolve faults and upgrade systems.
Contribute to continuous improvement through maintenance, documentation, R&D, system monitoring, and enhancements.
