Job summary

QT Hotels & Resorts is seeking an experienced Breakfast Manager to lead the daily breakfast operation across a high-volume venue in Sydney. You will drive standards, lead a motivated team and ensure guest experiences exceed expectations.

You will oversee staffing, safety, compliance and financial controls while actively contributing to revenue growth and service improvements. A customer-centric approach and strong collaboration with other departments are essential.

Responsibilities

• Support the Venue Manager in day-to-day operations, ensuring standards and profitability.
• Lead breakfast team with proactive leadership and staff development.
• Own daily breakfast operation and ensure smooth, consistent service.
• Monitor service standards and minimise non-service activities.
• Conduct daily breakfast briefings covering occupancy, VIPs and special requests.
• Manage rosters, overtime, leave and cross-venue staffing needs.
• Ensure liquor licensing, WHS, incident reporting and risk controls compliance.
• Handle guest complaints with care, aiming for quick resolutions.
• Drive revenue through up-selling while controlling costs.
• Maintain reporting, financial controls and asset management with Finance.
