Job summary

Coates Thornton is seeking a Branch Manager to lead a team of customer and service professionals, delivering outstanding service while driving branch performance and safety. You will mentor staff, drive KPI achievement, and develop customer solutions through quotes and hire agreements.

This permanent full-time role offers a bonus plan, a fully maintained tool of trade vehicle, and flexible working options to support performance and career progression.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales and operations management.
• Previous team leadership and ability to foster a One Team mindset.
• Proven track record of delivering on KPIs.
• Strong commercial and business acumen.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong computer literacy including customer databases and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of customer and service professionals to deliver outstanding service.
• Motivate, mentor and develop staff to be at their best and operate cohesively as a team.
• Drive branch performance with a focus on safety, revenue, fleet utilisation and customer loyalty KPIs.
• Ensure the safety of your team and Coates customers.
• Develop quotes, raise purchase orders and enter hire agreements to create optimal outcomes for customers.
• Oversee Asset Management and manage branch P&L and fleet KPI performance.

At Coates Thornton our Branch Manager performs a highly valued and critical role, leading a team of customer and service professionals to safely deliver outstanding service to our customers.

You will be successful in this role because you relate well to people, can motivate, mentor and develop your team to be its best, operate cohesively as a team and care deeply about the service delivered to Coates’ customers.

You will enjoy a variety in your role including:

• Accountability for branch performance with a focus on safety and achieving KPI’s associated with revenue, fleet utilisation and customer loyalty.
• Ensuring the safety of your team and Coates customers
• Guide and motivate staff to provide excellent customer service – a happy customer will be a returning customer!
• Create the best solution / outcome for our customers– develop quotes, raise purchase orders and enter hire agreements.
• Oversee Asset Management
• Manage branch P&L’s and KPI’s around fleet availability, fleet utilisation and customer loyalty.
