Job summary

Commonwealth Bank’s Warren Branch is seeking a Branch Manager for a part-time, 25-hour-per-week role. You will lead a team across in-branch and digital channels, coach staff, and drive exceptional customer service.

You will promote lending, deposits and wealth products while managing rostering and performance. A focus on developing staff and delivering Financial Health Checks to customers is essential.

• Oversee branch operations and rostering in line with predetermined schedules.
• Conduct Financial Health Checks to assess customers’ financial needs.

As Branch Manager in one of our Multi Channel Branches - you'll be passionate about leading your team to deliver exceptional service to our diverse range of customers. Using your expertise in motivation, you'll coach your team in offering a range of lending, deposit and wealth management products and services to both new and existing customers.

What is a Multi Channel Branch?

• Between 9:30-1.00pm: Our Retail Branch services customers in the community face to face with their everyday banking needs, enquires & transactions.
• After 1.00pm: We assist our customers with their everyday banking needs and complaints via telephone or other digital channels in a contact centre environment.

Together we deliver a seamless banking experience for the future to our 10 million+ personal and small business customers.More specifically, you will:

• Assist customers with general banking transactions, answering questions and queries
• Build a personal connection with customers through meaningful conversations face to face and through our direct channels
• Work with customers to use our in-branch technology and digital banking options
• Complete Financial Health Checks to assess customers’ financial needs
• Process applications for personal loans, credit cards and associated products
• Use tools to capture customer feedback and take action to correct any service breaks to drive improvement
• Be provided with continuous training and development to support your career aspirations
