Job summary

Rexel Australia in Richmond, VIC is seeking a hands-on Branch Manager to lead a busy electrical wholesale branch with Monday to Friday hours and no weekend work.

You will coach and develop a high-performing team, drive a customer-first culture, manage inventory and safety, and build strong relationships with trade and contractor customers to grow sales and profitability. Qualifications

• You are an engaging and capable leader who thrives in a busy branch environment.
• You may already be an Assistant Manager, a senior team member ready for the next step, or an experienced in internal sales or branch operations with natural leadership capability.

Responsibilities

• Support the Branch Manager to lead, coach and develop a high-performing team.
• Drive a customer-first culture and ensure consistently exceptional service.
• Build strong relationships with trade, contractor and commercial customers.
• Support branch sales growth, profitability and key performance outcomes.
• Overseeing daily branch operations, including inventory, compliance, safety and presentation.
• Lead by example on the counter, in the warehouse and with customers.
• Step up to manage the branch in the Branch Manager’s absence.
