Job summary

Rexel Australia in Richmond, Victoria, is seeking a hands-on leader to balance people leadership, customer service, sales and operations. This role reports to the Branch Manager and offers Monday to Friday hours—no weekend work—with the chance to influence a large customer base and a seasoned team.

You will coach a high-performing team, build strong relationships with trade and commercial customers, and drive growth while overseeing inventory, safety and branch presentation.

• Leadership experience or a clear track record of coaching and influencing others.
• Strong commercial awareness and drive to achieve sales and operational targets.
• Excellent customer relationship and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a high-performing team under the Branch Manager.
• Drive a customer-first culture and ensure consistently exceptional service.
• Build strong relationships with trade, contractor and commercial customers.
• Support branch sales growth, profitability and key performance outcomes.
• Oversee daily branch operations: inventory, compliance, safety and presentation.
• Lead by example on the counter, in the warehouse and with customers.
• Step in to manage the branch in the Branch Manager’s absence.
