Job summary

Rexel Richmond is seeking an experienced Branch Manager to lead a busy wholesale electrical branch in Victoria. You will balance people leadership, customer service, sales and operational excellence to drive day-to-day success.

You will report to the Regional Manager and lead a high-performing team on the shop floor and in the warehouse, building strong relationships with trade and commercial customers while driving KPI outcomes.

As one of our largest branches in Victoria, Richmond is a fast-paced, high-profile operation with a strong customer base, experienced team and genuine opportunity to make an impact. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys balancing people leadership, customer service, sales and operational excellence.

Best of all, this role offersMonday to Friday hours — no weekend work.

What you’ll be doing

Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day success of the branch by:

• Supporting the Branch Manager to lead, coach and develop a high-performing team
• Driving a customer-first culture and ensuring consistently exceptional service
• Building strong relationships with trade, contractor and commercial customers
• Supporting branch sales growth, profitability and key performance outcomes
• Overseeing daily branch operations, including inventory, compliance, safety and presentation
• Leading by example on the counter, in the warehouse and with customers
• Stepping up to manage the branch in the Branch Manager’s absence

Qualifications

You are an engaging and capable leader who thrives in a busy branch environment. You may already be an Assistant Manager, a senior team member ready for the next step, or an experienced in internal sales or branch operations with natural leadership capability.

Ideally, you will bring:

• Previous experience in electrical wholesale, trade, industrial supply, hardware or a similar customer-focused environment
• Leadership experience, or a clear track record of coaching and influencing others
• Strong commercial awareness and a drive to achieve sales and operational targets
• Excellent customer relationship and communication skills
• A hands-on approach, with the ability to support both customers and team members when it matters most
• A commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement
