Rexel Australia in Richmond, VIC is seeking a hands-on Branch Manager to lead a busy electrical wholesale branch with Monday to Friday hours and no weekend work.

You will coach and develop a high-performing team, drive a customer-first culture, manage inventory and safety, and build strong relationships with trade and contractor customers to grow sales and profitability. • Overseeing daily branch operations, including inventory, compliance, safety and presentation.
• Lead by example on the counter, in the warehouse and with customers.
• Step up to manage the branch in the Branch Manager’s absence.

This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone who enjoys balancing people leadership, customer service, sales and operational excellence.

Best of all, this role offers Monday to Friday hours — no weekend work.

What You’ll Be Doing

Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day success of the branch by:

• Supporting the Branch Manager to lead, coach and develop a high-performing team
• Driving a customer-first culture and ensuring consistently exceptional service
• Building strong relationships with trade, contractor and commercial customers
• Supporting branch sales growth, profitability and key performance outcomes
• Overseeing daily branch operations, including inventory, compliance, safety and presentation
• Leading by example on the counter, in the warehouse and with customers
• Stepping up to manage the branch in the Branch Manager’s absence

Qualifications

Ideally, You Will Bring

• Previous experience in electrical wholesale, trade, industrial supply, hardware or a similar customer-focused environment
• Leadership experience, or a clear track record of coaching and influencing others
• Strong commercial awareness and a drive to achieve sales and operational targets
• Excellent customer relationship and communication skills
• A hands‑on approach, with the ability to support both customers and team members when it matters most
• A commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement
