Job summary

Wonil Hotel Perth, part of Accor's Handwritten Collection, seeks an accomplished General Manager to lead operations, strategy and guest experience at a boutique riverside property in Perth. This high-visibility role partners with owners and Accor teams to drive growth, profitability and exceptional service across all departments.

The GM will shape performance, coach a high-performing team and ensure governance, risk management and brand standards are upheld while delivering personalised guest

Qualifications

• Strong leadership, presence and judgement to lead a distinctive property.
• Proven experience in general management / hotel leadership roles.
• Commercial and financial acumen across budgeting, forecasting and profitability.

Responsibilities

• Take full accountability for the hotel's operational and financial performance, including revenue, profitability, cost management, forecasting and achievement of the annual business plan.
• Lead all facets of the operation, including rooms, food and beverage, revenue management, recruitment and training, guest experience, hotel presentation, sales, marketing, finance, engineering and security.
• Develop and execute strategies that grow top line revenue, maximise profitability and strengthen Wonil's position within Perth's boutique hotel market.
• Maintain strong financial governance, operational controls and reporting disciplines across the business.
• Build and maintain relationships with Accor regional teams, guests and other key stakeholders.
• Lead, coach and develop an engaged team and foster a culture where people feel valued and empowered.
• Be highly visible within the operation and champion a personalised guest experience that reflects the Handwritten Collection brand.
• Use guest feedback and market data to drive continuous improvement in service, product, and operational efficiency.
• Identify opportunities to activate West Kitchen and Bar and the riverside location.
• Protect the owner asset through disciplined maintenance and capital planning.
• Maintain product, service and presentation standards while maximizing revenue and ensuring safety and compliance.
