Job summary

JOBSTAR PTY LTD on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, is seeking a qualified fabricator-welder for a permanent full-time role. You should have 3–5 years of Structural Steel fabrication experience, be proficient in MIG welding, and able to read and follow shop drawings in a team environment.

Reliable transport and a positive attitude are essential. Work includes potential Saturday mornings and overtime; forklift and dogging tickets are advantageous but not required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years fabrication experience in structural steel/metal.
• Able to read and follow shop drawings.
• Reliable with a stable work history and team-oriented.
• Must have reliable transport to the job site.
• Experience with MIG welding (bare wire 1.2 mm) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read shop drawings and follow directions.
• Fabricate structural steel components.
• Perform MIG welding as required.
• Work safely in a team environment.
• OT may be required and Saturday mornings possible.

Job Description

We are a Metal Fabrication business on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, supplying Structural Steel components to South East Queensland construction projects - Residential, Commercial and Industrial. Applicants to have good experience in Metal fabrication and welding. Must be able to read shop drawings and follow general directions.

5 Days per week - Possible Saturday mornings and possible daily OT. Required Skills: 3-5 years Fabrication experience in Structural Steel / Metal

Work Bare Wire 1.2 mm (GMAW) Mig Welding Experienced in reading work shop drawings

Follow direction and work safely in team work environment Must be reliable with stable work history and a positive attitude to work Must have reliable transport means to get to work

Gantry Crane experience Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year Work Location: In person
