Job summary

Workforce Success on the Gold Coast is seeking an experienced Boilermaker / Metal Fabricator for ongoing long-term work with potential permanent placement. The role involves repairs, new builds, fabricating and welding heavy-duty earthmoving equipment.

You will read and interpret drawings, work with MIG welding and fabrication tools, and operate in a team. A trade qualification is required; own transport is recommended. Overtime with penalties is available.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification as a Boilermaker / Metal Fabricator.
• Proven experience in heavy steel fabrication.
• Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings accurately.
• Own car and licence to get to site.

Responsibilities

• Repairs & New Builds, Fabricating, assembling, and welding heavy-duty attachments and earthmoving gear.
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and plans.
• Using MIG welding and fabrication tools to produce high-quality, fit-for-purpose products.
• Working in a team environment.

Our client is a busy and growing fabrication business specialising in heavy-duty earthmoving equipment and attachments. They are looking for an experienced Boilermaker / Metal Fabricator to join their team on an ongoing basis, with the opportunity to move into a permanent position.

• Rate: $45.00ph + Penalties
• Hours:55 - 60 Hours Per Week($2900-$3100 Per Week)
• Duration: Ongoing Long Term to Full Time Permanent
• Location: Gold Coast Area
