Job summary

EC Group in Brisbane is seeking a driven BMS Project Manager / Project Engineer to deliver automation, controls and energy-efficiency solutions across major construction and refurbishment projects. You will lead end-to-end delivery, including engineering, programming, commissioning and handover, coordinating with builders, contractors and clients to turn complex requirements into high-performing outcomes.

The role requires 3–5+ years in BMS or building automation, knowledge of BACnet/Modbus, and

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years' experience in BMS, HVAC controls or building automation
• Experience with open-protocol systems (BACnet, Modbus, KNX, LON)
• Experience with major BMS platforms (Schneider EcoStruxure, Tridium/Niagara, Optergy is a plus)
• Strong engineering, diagnosis and problem-solving skills

• Managing BMS projects from concept to completion
• Coordinating with builders, mechanical contractors, consultants and electrical trades
• Developing BMS design documentation, control strategies and schematics
• Engineering, programming and integrating field devices, HVAC equipment and third-party systems
