- Manage and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and internal project resources.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, head contractors, and other key project stakeholders.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, programme constraints, and delivery challenges.
- Ensure project documentation, quality assurance requirements, safety obligations, and contractual commitments are effectively managed.
- Oversee project commissioning, handover, defect resolution, and close-out activities to achieve successful project outcomes.
About You
We are seeking a motivated and experienced professional with:
- Previous Project Management or Project Engineering experience within Building Automation, Building Management Systems (BMS), HVAC, Mechanical, Electrical, or a related building services discipline.
- Strong understanding of BMS project delivery and construction project lifecycles.
- Sound knowledge of BMS design principles, HVAC systems, and control strategies.
- Ability to review and coordinate mechanical and electrical drawings, specifications, and BMS design documentation.
- Strong project planning, organisational, and commercial management skills.
- Experience managing subcontractors, suppliers, and multidisciplinary project teams.
- Proven ability to manage project budgets, variations, schedules, and project risks.
- Well-developed communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach, with the ability to take ownership and successfully deliver multiple projects concurrently.
- A commitment to safety, quality, and achieving successful project outcomes.
Technical Experience (Highly Regarded)
- Experience with Tridium Niagara will be highly regarded.
- Exposure to Johnson Controls Metasys, Honeywell ComfortPoint, or other leading BMS platforms will also be viewed favourably but is not essential.
- While the successful candidate is not expected to be a hands‑on programmer, they will possess a strong technical understanding of BMS design, system architecture, HVAC integration, and project delivery to effectively lead engineering teams and support successful project outcomes.
