Zusammenfassung

Oztech BMS Solutions in Melbourne is seeking a hands-on BMS engineer to manage small projects end-to-end with support from senior engineers. You will configure controllers, develop control logic, and create BMS graphics, then commission and hand over with detailed documentation.

You should have 1–3 years in BMS or HVAC controls, familiarity with Niagara or other platforms, be able to read schematics, and hold a valid driver’s license with willingness to travel to Melbourne and Sydney sites.

This role is for a hands-on BMS engineer who is ready to manage smaller projects end to end, with support from senior engineers.

Key responsibilities

Manage smaller BMS projects from engineering through commissioning and handover

Act as the day-to-day technical contact for clients, and produce technical documentation

Configure controllers, develop control logic, and create BMS and EMS graphics

Commission systems, including point-to-point checks, sensor verification and functional testing

Integrate HVAC equipment and meters using BACnet and Modbus

Investigate faults and identify performance improvements

Maintain commissioning records, as-installed documentation and handover packs

About you

1 to 3 years in BMS, HVAC controls or building automation, or an electrical or engineering background with practical controls exposure

Experience with Tridium Niagara or another BMS platform such as Distech, Honeywell, Johnson Controls or Schneider

A solid understanding of HVAC systems, sensors, actuators and control principles

The ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings

A current driver's licence and willingness to travel to Melbourne and Sydney project sites

Confidence with clients, and an interest in the commercial side of projects

Exposure to BMS programming, commissioning or fault-finding
