Fluence is seeking an experienced field service technician with a strong background in battery energy storage and high voltage systems. You will perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on BESS assets, while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Role requires travel to project sites, excellent problem-solving skills, and ability to interpret electrical drawings and manuals. The team emphasizes collaboration, documentation discipline, and continuous improvement in HV operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years relevant experience in energy, engineering or battery storage field.
• Current A-Class Electrician License with HV experience.
• Experience in renewable energy sector and maintenance of renewables.
• Proficiency in HV switching and safety standards.

Responsabilités

• Perform inspections, preventive maintenance, repairs, and field service on BESS and HV/MV/LV systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues using diagnostic tools.
• Conduct HV switching in line with safety and regulations.
• Maintain accurate maintenance, switching, permit, and technical records.
• Identify system issues to minimize downtime and optimize performance.
• Support commissioning activities including testing, validation and optimization.
