Job summary

Great Ocean Road Coast and Parks Authority in Lorne, VIC, is hiring a Caravan Park Attendant at the Lorne Foreshore Caravan Park. This casual, hands-on role combines guest services, reception duties, cleaning and general park maintenance to ensure a positive stay for guests.

You will handle bookings, check-ins and inquiries, while helping maintain a clean, safe environment and delivering excellent service to visitors from across Australia and beyond.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, reception, retail, hospitality or tourism.
• Strong communication skills and confidence interacting with a wide range of people.
• Friendly, approachable and solutions-focused attitude.
• Good organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Willingness to work across reception, cleaning, grounds and maintenance activities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Current Australian Driver Licence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly, professional customer service at reception, over the phone and via email.
• Assist guests with bookings, check-ins, enquiries and information about the local area.
• Respond to guest requests and help resolve issues to ensure a positive visitor experience.
• Process reservations using our booking systems and assist with administrative tasks.
• Maintain high presentation standards across park facilities, amenities and accommodation.
• Undertake cleaning of cabins, amenities, kitchens and other communal areas.
• Assist with general grounds maintenance including mowing, gardening and rubbish collection.
• Complete minor maintenance and handyman-style tasks to support the safe operation of the park.
