Job summary

Bedrock Recruitment Pty Ltd is seeking a driven Business Development Manager to cover Brisbane South and the Gold Coast for a leading Australian manufacturer of innovative building systems. You will drive regional growth by engaging with architects, engineers, builders and sub-contractors.

Ideal candidates will have 3+ years in BDM/account management within construction materials, strong market knowledge, and proven ability to navigate long sales cycles with technical solutions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' business development or account management experience in construction materials or related building trade products.
• Able to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings.
• Strong understanding of the local construction market.
• Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a targeted sales strategy to grow market share across multi-residential, commercial and residential projects.
• Engage early with architects and engineers to get your product specified, then convert through to head contractors and installers.
• Develop tailored solutions that meet project-specific technical and structural requirements.
• Build long-term relationships with builders, developers, engineers and key sub-contractors.
• Manage projects from initial concept through to on-site delivery, ensuring strong client outcomes and repeat business.
• Deliver confident, executive-level presentations.
