Job summary

We are looking for a permanent Bar Supervisor to become part of our great team at Landsborough Hotel. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership and people management, with proven hospitality experience and a commitment to guest service.

Reporting to the Hotel and Assistant Hotel Manager, the role requires reliability, self-motivation, and the ability to interact with guests and staff. Flexibility to work weekends and nights on a 7-day roster is essential.

Qualifications

• Current experience in the hospitality industry.
• Supervisor experience in fast-paced, busy environments.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• RSA & RSG current.
• RMLV and Approved Manager status preferred or ability to acquire.

Job description

Reporting to the Hotel and Assistant Hotel Manager, the role requires a reliable, self‑motivated person that maintains a positive and enthusiastic approach in everything they do. You will be able to interact with our guests and other staff members.

We would prefer the applicant to have:

• Current experience in the hospitality industry.
• Supervisor experience in fast paced, busy environment.
• Have excellent interpersonal and good communication skills.
• Be honest and reliable with a positive and enthusiastic approach to customer service.
• Be able to multitask with an ability to manage competing demands and work well under pressure; time management is essential.
• Have a current RSA & RSG.
• Current RMLV and Approved Manager preferred or ability to acquire.
• Have the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
• Be able to give and take direction.
• Be able to work on a flexible roster which includes weekends and nights over 7 days and public holidays.
