Job summary

RAC Monkey Mia Dolphin Resort is seeking an experienced Bar Manager to lead our bar operations on a full-time basis at Monkey Mia, WA. You will oversee daily bar activities, manage a team of attendants, and collaborate with the Resort Manager to deliver an exceptional guest experience.

Responsibilities include crafting cocktails and beverages, managing supplier relationships and stock, ensuring licensing and WHS compliance, and handling rosters, budgets and reporting.

Qualifications

  • Proven hospitality experience with bar management or supervisory roles.
  • Strong leadership and staff development skills.
  • Knowledge of liquor licensing, compliance, and safe work practices.
  • Excellent communication, organisation and stakeholder management.
  • RSA, Approved Managers Licence, and National Police Clearance.

  • Prepare and serve beverages including cocktails, beer, wine and coffee.
  • Develop and maintain supplier relationships and manage stock levels.

  • Drive a positive guest experience by reviewing feedback and implementing improvements.

Located in the spectacular Shark Bay World Heritage Area, RAC Monkey Mia Dolphin Resort offers visitors a once-in-a-lifetime experience of connecting with wild dolphins against a backdrop of stunning beaches and pristine national parks. With a range of accommodation, dining and entertainment options, the resort is one of WA’s most iconic holiday destinations.

We’re seeking an experienced and passionate Bar Manager to join us on a Full-Time basis and lead our bar operations, delivering outstanding service and creating an inviting atmosphere for guests to relax and enjoy.

In this role, you’ll oversee daily bar operations, manage and train a team of attendants, and collaborate with the Resort Manager to deliver an industry-leading outlet. From crafting cocktail menus to ensuring compliance and managing supplier relationships, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the bar experience for our guests.

Your day-to-day impact

  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic resort environment and deliver memorable guest experiences.
  • Qualifications: RSA, Approved Managers Licence, and National Police Clearance required.
