Job summary

RAC Monkey Mia Dolphin Resort in Western Australia seeks an experienced Restaurant Manager for a 6-month fixed-term contract to lead Food & Beverage operations and drive a high-performing team across outlets.

You will partner with the Head Chef to deliver exceptional dining experiences, manage rosters, budgets and guest service, and ensure compliance with liquor licensing and safety standards. On-site accommodation is provided.

Qualifications

  • Previous Restaurant Manager or senior hospitality leadership experience.
  • Strong knowledge of F&B operations, service standards, and cost control.
  • Proven ability to lead, develop and motivate a team.
  • Experience managing budgets, rosters and performance.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
  • Guest-first mindset with a focus on service.
  • RSA certificate is current.
  • Approved Manager’s Licence or willingness to obtain.
  • Willingness to obtain National Police Check.
  • Availability to work a 7-day rotating roster, including weekends/holidays.
  • Relevant qualifications in Hospitality or Management (desirable)

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with Liquor Licensing, OH&S and food safety standards.
  • Manage guest feedback, resolve complaints and drive continuous improvement.
  • Prepare reports on outlet performance and contribute to strategic planning.

Located on the shores of the World Heritage-listed Shark Bay, RAC Monkey Mia Dolphin Resort offers a truly unique work environment, famous for its beachfront location and the incredible daily dolphin interactions.

We are seeking an experienced full-time Restaurant Manager to join us on a 6-month fixed-term contact to lead our Food & Beverage operations, overseeing daily service and driving a high-performing team across our outlets.

Set against a stunning coastal backdrop, this role works closely with the Resort Manager and Head Chef to deliver exceptional dining experiences and ensure smooth, efficient operations across the resort’s food and beverage offerings. Included accommodation on-site is available, making this an ideal opportunity for local candidates or those looking to relocate and live on-site.

What will you be doing?

As Restaurant Manager, you will lead the Food & Beverage team, ensuring service standards, financial performance and team engagement are consistently achieved.

In this role, you will:
  • Lead and manage day-to-day Food & Beverage operations across outlets
