Job summary

Bendigo Bank in Homebush is seeking a Customer Service Officer to lead exceptional service delivery, helping customers achieve their banking goals and guiding them through transactions and product recommendations. Qualifications

• Experience in customer service environment and the ability to achieve targets.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure secure, accurate transactions with a risk mindset.
• Confidence to communicate with new and existing customers face to face and over the phone.
• Eagerness to understand and communicate what makes our bank different.
• Drive for collaboration - mateship is crucial for us to work together and achieve our goals.
• Experience in the banking and finance industry is a plus but certainly not essential.

Responsibilities

• Explore customers’ needs through in-depth conversations to help them achieve their financial goals and partnering with different specialists within the branch.
• Support our customers with their digital literacy and online banking needs as we continue to innovate our offerings.
• Be the face of the branch and customer service, processing transactions, handling cash, investigating queries or assisting with paperwork, with risk at the forefront.
• Embrace lifelong learning with on-the-job training and external development opportunities.
• Build connections by supporting customers and contributing to community initiatives.
