Okendo is seeking a forward-thinking Back-End Developer to join a high-growth tech startup. You will collaborate with the CTO and the development team to define the product vision, own the back-end, and ensure our services scale gracefully.

The role emphasizes clean architecture, performance, and rapid iteration to improve existing systems. You'll work with Node.js, TypeScript, Vue.js, and Angular in a fast-paced environment, with opportunities to travel and contribute to the Shopify ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Proven OO programming experience with Node.js/TypeScript/Vue.js preferred.
• Familiarity with software architecture and SDLC.
• Experience with APIs, database querying, and writing clean code.
• Cloud platforms knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define product vision and development requirements with CTO/Co-Founder.
• Own the back-end to ensure scalability, performance, and elegance.
• Participate in architecture and product planning sessions.
• Iterate rapidly with the team while improving current systems.
