Job summary

Okendo is hiring a Senior Frontend Engineer to build the customer marketing platform used by 16,000+ Shopify brands. You’ll work across Vue, Angular, and React codebases on a fully remote team, using TypeScript end-to-end on a modern AWS serverless stack.

You’ll design, develop, test, and ship frontend features, mentor peers, and help evolve our frontend architecture as the platform scales. If you thrive in a fast-moving environment and love building delightful user experiences for ecommerce

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional frontend experience.
• Experience with Vue, Angular, or React.
• Proficient TypeScript and modern JavaScript.
• Track record of shipping tested, maintainable frontend code in a team.
• Experience with a serverless stack is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build frontend features across Vue widgets, Angular admin tools, and React Shopify integrations.
• Collaborate with product, design, and backend to implement solutions.
• Write clean, tested TypeScript code and maintain standards.
• Break down complex problems into shippable tasks and estimate timelines.
• Own features end to end from design to production.
• Participate in frontend architecture discussions.
• Mentor engineers and review code.
• Collaborate with backend on AWS serverless APIs.
