Job summary

Okendo is hiring a Senior Frontend Engineer to build the customer marketing platform used by 16,000+ Shopify brands. You’ll work across Vue, Angular, and React codebases on a fully remote team, using TypeScript end-to-end on a modern AWS serverless stack.

Contribute to embeddable widgets, merchant admin tools, and Shopify integrations while collaborating with product, design, and backend engineers to deliver high-quality frontend software.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of production frontend experience.
• Strong TS/JS in modern frameworks.
• Experience with serverless AWS stack.

Responsibilities

• Build frontend features across Vue embeddables, Angular admin tools, and React Shopify integrations.
• Collaborate with product, design, and backend engineers.
• Write clean, tested TypeScript code to high standards.
• Plan, estimate, and deliver well-scoped tasks.
• Own features end-to-end from design to production.
• Contribute to frontend architecture discussions.
• Mentor engineers and raise the team's technical bar.
• Work with serverless AWS stack to design APIs and data flows.
