Job summary

Smartgroup is seeking a Product Owner, Client Experience in Sydney to shape how we solve complex problems for clients across a broad B2B product landscape. You will focus on our new Client Portal, exploring onboarding, reporting, data transfer, integrations and operational processes.

You will own the problem space through product discovery, translating ambiguity into clear priorities and guiding work from early discovery through to delivery with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Experience leading product discovery to uncover client problems and opportunities.
• Proven track record in B2B product environments with multiple stakeholders.
• Experience taking new products from discovery to delivery in ambiguous contexts.
• Strong ability to frame problems, compare opportunities and prioritise investments.

Responsibilities

• Lead product discovery to identify valuable opportunities for clients.
• Shape and prioritise pipeline across digital experiences, workflows, reporting, data movement and integrations.
• Engage with clients and stakeholders to test assumptions and inform decisions.
• Move opportunities from discovery to delivery without premature solutions.
• Collaborate with Client, Operations and Technology teams to align business needs and constraints.
• Establish effective product ways of working within a cross-functional team.
