Job summary

Amex is seeking a Business Development Executive to drive high-value customer acquisition in the Small Business segment. You will promote lead generation, manage the sales pipeline, and ensure a quality customer experience while navigating regulatory selling practices.

You will interface with customers to resolve application issues, report on pipeline performance, and attend conferences and events to expand Amex's footprint in the small business market.

Qualifications

• Experience in consultative B2B sales and account management.
• Proven track-record of acquiring new business and exceeding sales targets in a phone-based environment.
• Adaptability in a regulated industry with compliant selling practices.
• Experience in stakeholder engagement and developing sales strategies.
• Strong relationship-building with senior-level partners.

Responsibilities

• Prospect new customers through existing leads and cold calling to promote lead and revenue generation.
• Ensure effective usage of Salesforce to track and report pipeline, acquisition results, and market conditions.
• Interface between Amex and the customer to resolve any application processing issues.
• Attend relevant industry and partner conferences, tradeshows, and networking events.
