Business Show Media is seeking a driven Business Development Executive in Sydney to generate new business, engage senior decision-makers, and present exhibition and sponsorship opportunities. The role offers uncapped commission, sponsorship potential, and clear progression paths within a fast-growing international events business.

You’ll target exhibitors and sponsors across our events, build lasting relationships, and drive revenue while working from our Sydney CBD office.

Qualifications

• Experience in B2B sales or business development.
• Experience communicating with senior decision-makers.
• Proactive and commercially minded with strong time management.

Responsibilities

• Identify and engage prospective exhibitors and sponsors.
• Generate new business through calls, email and LinkedIn.
• Build relationships with founders, directors and business owners.
• Understand commercial objectives and present opportunities.
• Present exhibition and sponsorship packages.
• Manage sales conversations and negotiate agreements.
• Develop and maintain your sales pipeline.
• Follow up with prospective clients.
• Work toward individual revenue targets.
• Maintain accurate CRM records.
• Collaborate with the wider commercial team.
