Tricon Steel Industries Pty Ltd in Melbourne is seeking a motivated Sales Representative to grow our B2B client base in the construction sector, manage full sales cycles from enquiry to order, and collaborate with estimating, drafting and manufacturing teams.

You will develop relationships with builders and contractors across Melbourne, read drawings, present proposals, negotiate pricing, and achieve sales targets while earning base salary plus commission and a company vehicle or allowance.

Formación

• 3+ years B2B sales experience in construction, building materials or a related industry.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Driver’s license and White Card requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings.
• Proven ability to win new business and achieve sales targets.

Responsabilidades

• Identify and secure new business with builders, developers and contractors.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to generate repeat business.
• Conduct client meetings, site visits and product presentations.
• Identify upcoming projects and follow up on enquiries, tenders and quotations.
• Work with our technical teams to prepare accurate and competitive proposals.
• Negotiate pricing and commercial terms within company guidelines.
• Coordinate project handovers with our operations team.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts and pipeline updates.
• Work towards agreed sales targets and business growth objectives.
