The HR Ally is seeking an experienced AWS Connect Technical Lead to design, implement, and optimise Amazon Connect solutions for enterprise environments.
You will lead architecture, integration and deployment efforts, mentor engineers, and drive operational excellence across AWS services, synthetic workflows and contact center automation.
To succeed, you will demonstrate hands-on expertise, influence across teams, and a focus on security, scalability and customer experience.

We are looking for an experienced AWS Connect Technical Lead / Senior Engineer to lead the design, implementation, integration and optimisation of Amazon Connect solutions. The role requires strong hands‑on technical expertise along with the ability to provide technical leadership across engineering, architecture and operational teams.
- Strong experience in Amazon Connect architecture, configuration and platform administration
- Expertise in Contact Flows, routing strategies, queues, profiles and customer journeys
- Hands‑on experience with Amazon Lex and conversational AI integrations
- Strong knowledge of Amazon Connect APIs, AWS Lambda and event‑driven architectures
- Experience with Contact Trace Records (CTR), Kinesis streaming and analytics integrations
- Understanding of Amazon Connect security, SAML/SSO and identity integration
- Experience with Workforce Management, Quality Management and Contact Lens
- Strong troubleshooting and operational support experience across the Connect platform
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and DevOps practices for Amazon Connect configuration and deployments
- Provide technical leadership and subject matter expertise for the Amazon Connect platform
- Drive solution design and ensure alignment with business and technical requirements
- Own technical delivery outcomes, platform quality and engineering standards
- Identify and manage technical, operational and delivery risks
- Collaborate with AWS, vendors, engineering teams and internal stakeholders
- Lead platform simplification, automation and continuous improvement
- Promote operational excellence, resilience, security and customer experience
- Coach and mentor engineers and help build long‑term Amazon Connect capability
- Support architectural and technical decisions across the platform
- Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills
