Job summary

Amazon Web Services Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a Specialist Solutions Architect to work with customers on complex cloud architectures and go-to-market initiatives in the APJ region. You will craft scalable, resilient designs and help customers refactor applications for cloud success.

The role focuses on technical leadership, collaboration with sales teams, and development of field enablement content across AWS services. Melbourne-based position with global impact.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in design/implementation/consulting for applications and infrastructures.
• Cloud Technology Certification such as Solutions Architecture, Cloud Security, or Cloud DevOps Engineering.
• Knowledge of AWS services.

AWS Specialist Solutions Architects (SSAs) are technologists with deep domain-specific expertise, able to address advanced concepts and feature designs. As part of the AWS sales organization, SSAs work with customers who have complex challenges that require expert-level knowledge to solve. SSAs craft scalable, flexible, and resilient technical architectures that address those challenges. About The Team

The APJ CXE Specialist Solution Architecture team is a diverse group of architects located throughout Asia, Pacific and Japan. The team develops Contact Centre architectures and solutions using Amazon Connect for our customers. Specialist SAs play a critical role in capturing customer feedback, advocating for roadmap enhancements, and anticipating customer requirements as they work backwards from their needs. As domain experts, SSAs also participate in field engagement and enablement, producing content such as whitepapers, blogs, and workshops for customers, partners, and the AWS Technical Field.

Basic Qualifications

• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
• Cloud Technology Certification (such as Solutions Architecture, Cloud Security Professional or Cloud DevOps Engineering)
• Knowledge of AWS services

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AI/ML technologies
• Experience developing, deploying and managing AI products at scale
