Job summary

Boeing Defence Australia at RAAF Base Amberley in Ipswich, QLD, is seeking a motivated individual to join the MRO Services team as the Responsible Manager. You will oversee regulatory compliance for C-17 DASR Part 145 and Part 21G, and lead from the backshop with a focus on safety and operational excellence.

The role requires Chartered status via Engineers Australia, 5+ years in aviation maintenance, and strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years experience in aviation engineering and maintenance.
• Aircraft maintenance engineer qualifications and knowledge of Maintenance Management Systems desirable.
• Strong analysis and problem-solving skills.
• High level of written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage C-17 ASSC and Amberley Backshop regulatory environment under DASR Part 145 and Part 21G.
• Provide leadership and promote a safe and healthy work environment.
• Support the C-17 ASSC/Backshop MRO Services Operations Manager and contribute to effective operation of the business.
