Job summary

The Boeing Company in Queensland is seeking a motivated Maintenance Manager to oversee regulatory compliance for the C-17 ASSC and Amberley Backshop DASR Part 145 and Part 21G Manufacturing. The role is based at RAAF Base Amberley, Ipswich, QLD, and focuses on maintaining airworthiness and safety standards.

Ideal candidates will hold Chartered status through Engineering Australia, have 5+ years in aviation maintenance, and possess aircraft maintenance engineer qualifications.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in aviation engineering and maintenance.
• Possess aircraft maintenance engineer qualifications.
• Knowledge/experience with Maintenance Management Systems desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High level of written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all maintenance carried out meets DASRs and BDA MOE requirements.
• Work closely with Quality and Safety Managers to support Q&S systems.
• Investigate and coordinate actions resulting from quality compliance monitoring.
• Review and update DASR Part 145 and 21G command media.
• Manage the C-17 ASSC and Amberley Backshop regulatory environment under DASR Part 145 and Part 21G.
• Provide leadership and promote a safe and healthy work environment.
• Support the MRO Services Operations Manager and ensure smooth operations.
• Current or previous experience as a Part 145 Responsible Manager is highly desirable.
