Job summary

The Royal Flying Doctor Service is seeking a Darwin-based Logistics Controller to coordinate purchasing, receipt, storage and traceability of aeronautical parts for aviation engineering operations.

You will maintain stock records, monitor orders, support invoice approvals and ensure engineers have the parts they need on time in a safety-critical environment. Travel may be required to support remote bases.

Qualifications

• Experience in stock control and inventory management.
• Experience using purchasing systems and maintaining accurate records.
• Strong computer literacy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate compliant purchasing, receipt, storage and record keeping of aeronautical products.
• Maintain release and traceability records for incoming aircraft stock.
• Monitor purchase orders, costs and delivery dates; follow up outstanding orders.
• Inform Engineers of progress on urgent Aircraft on Ground orders.
• Raise and monitor repair orders for unserviceable parts and manage stock levels.
