Job summary

Events Engine in Sydney is seeking an Audio-Visual Technician L1 (Contractor) to provide AV support for corporate meeting rooms and events. You will work with on-site and off-site teams to ensure timely service.

The role covers setup, fault-finding, incident escalation, and proactive health checks, with duties across conferencing systems, room reports, and readiness for business continuity exercises. 75k-100k AUD salary, 1-year contract in Central Sydney.

Qualifications

• Experience providing AV and VC setup across meeting rooms.
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to raise incidents to regional lead and escalate when needed.
• Perform proactive health checks and reporting.
• Assist with software upgrades and video/audio conferencing issues.
• Manual handling for moving equipment may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide AV and VC setup and technical support across all meeting rooms.
• Fault finding and troubleshooting.
• Escalate and update incidents to regional lead.
• Support events involving AV systems.
• Provide reporting on room conditions and upgrades.
• Conduct health checks per SOP.
• Support continuity activities and restoration prep.
