Microhire is seeking an experienced Audio Visual Technician to join our Sydney team. You will set up, operate, and troubleshoot AV systems for live events, conferences, and galas, collaborating with clients and crew to ensure flawless execution.

Based in Sydney, you’ll bring hands-on AV experience across audio, lighting, vision, and IT, with strong communication and teamwork. Evening/weekend work and flexibility are required, with supportive development opportunities and career growth at

Qualifications

Hands‑on AV experience across live events, staging, or conferencing.
Solid technical knowledge in audio, lighting, vision, and IT systems.
Experience working directly with clients and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Rigging or EWP certifications highly regarded.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate cutting-edge AV technology across audio, vision, lighting, staging, and IT
Execute corporate events, conferences, and gala dinners with confidence and precision
Take ownership of event execution, on-site client liaison, and crew leadership
Provide outstanding customer service and uphold Microhire’s values of integrity, respect, and professionalism
