Job summary

RINGWOOD GWM in Ringwood, Victoria is seeking an experienced Service Advisor - Automotive to join our on-site service centre. You will be the vital link between customers and the service department, ensuring vehicles receive expert care and high levels of satisfaction.

This full-time role offers a supportive team, ongoing training, and opportunities to grow within a leading GWM dealership. You will write service estimates, coordinate with technicians, and promote warranty and service packages

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Service Advisor or similar customer-facing role in automotive.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional presentation and demeanour when dealing with customers.
• Proficiency in computer systems and service management software.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple customer inquiries simultaneously.
• Current driver's licence and willingness to occasionally move customer vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Greeting customers and understanding their vehicle service requirements and concerns.
• Providing expert advice on vehicle maintenance, repairs and service options.
• Writing accurate service estimates and obtaining customer authorisation.
• Liaising between customers and the service department to ensure work is completed to specification.
• Scheduling service appointments and managing the booking system efficiently.
• Processing invoices and handling customer payments.
• Following up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
• Maintaining detailed service records and vehicle history documentation.
• Promoting manufacturer warranty and service packages to customers.
• Contributing to workshop efficiency by managing workflow and communication.
