Job summary

Redpath Mining is seeking an experienced Auto Electrician to join our Scotia site on a 2/2 roster. The role focuses on safe, efficient maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of auto electrical systems on mobile and fixed plant equipment to maximise availability and reliability.

You will work underground with mining equipment and light vehicles, conducting pre-start checks and contributing to a safe, productive environment.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining, diagnosing and repairing auto electrical systems on mobile and fixed plant equipment.
• Ensure maximum equipment availability, reliability and operational efficiency.
• Work with underground mining equipment, mobile plant and light vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, circuits, and electronic systems on underground mining equipment, mobile plant, and light vehicles.
• Diagnose faults and repair or replace electrical components and wiring to maximise equipment reliability.
• Maintain plant and equipment in accordance with site standards, safety requirements, and regulatory compliance.
• Conduct pre-start inspections and checks to ensure equipment is safe and operational.
• Participate in toolbox talks, pre-starts, shift handovers, and safety meetings to promote a safe and productive work environment.

About The Role
