Redpath Mining is seeking a qualified Auto Electrician to join our maintenance team in Western Australia. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient maintenance, diagnosis, repair, and servicing of auto electrical systems on a diverse range of plant and equipment.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification as an Auto Electrician with experience maintaining light vehicles, heavy mobile equipment, and mining plant.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, electronic, and control systems; ability to read electrical schematics.
• Proven fault-finding and diagnostic skills; plan, prioritise, and complete maintenance tasks efficiently.
• Current manual driver's licence; First Aid, CPR, and Fire qualifications required. Automotive Air Conditioning Licence desirable.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, diagnose, and repair electrical wiring and electronic systems on fixed and mobile plant to ensure safe and reliable operation.
• Perform preventative maintenance, fault finding, component replacement, and pre-start inspections in compliance with company standards and relevant regulations.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organised work environment by managing risks, completing THAs/Take 5s, and adhering to all safety procedures and reporting requirements.
• Accurately complete maintenance documentation, inspection records, worksheets, and other required administrative tasks on a daily basis.
• Actively participate in safety initiatives, including pre-start meetings, toolbox talks, ICAM investigations, and the reporting of incidents, accidents, and near misses.

About the Role
