Job summary

Right Now Support is seeking a dedicated support worker to assist autistic adults in Alexandra, Eildon, Yea or nearby areas. You will deliver person-centred assistance in the community and during scheduled shifts, adapting to each participant’s goals and preferences.

Applicants should have experience with autistic support, Behaviour Support Plans, and hold current NDIS checks, First Aid/CPR, a valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle for shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting autistic adults.
• Experience working with Behaviour Support Plans.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check is current.
• First Aid and CPR certification current.
• NDIS Worker Orientation Module completion.
• Current driver’s license.
• Evidence of Australian working rights.

Responsibilities

• Provide calm, reliable and consistent support to autistic adults.
• Work in line with Behaviour Support Plans and individual support requirements.
• Support participants to achieve their goals and engage in daily activities and the community.
• Maintain professional boundaries, safety and respectful communication during every shift.
• Use a reliable, registered and insured vehicle to travel as required.
