Job summary

My Disability Provider in Victoria delivers support to participants across Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland, aiming to help clients achieve goals and work toward independence.

We are seeking a qualified disability worker with at least 3 years of experience, especially with autistic and non-verbal participants, and holding relevant certificates (First Aid, CPR, NDIS checks, WWCC, Police Check) plus a valid driver’s license and a reliable car.

Qualifications

• Minimum Certificate III/IV or Diploma in Disability or equivalent.
• At least 3 years experience working with autistic and non-verbal participants.
• Must have First Aid, CPR, NDIS checks and orientation checks, WWCC, Police Check, driver license and car with insurance.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrated high level interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Medication delivery, travel, community access, companionship, domestic tasks, and meal preparation.
• Ability to work independently and provide client-focused, timely and coordinated support.
• Knowledge of ongoing issues faced by people living with a disability at different life stages.
• Flexible, family‑friendly culture enabling balance of family and work obligations; assist with outings and daily routines.
