Job summary

RAISE.Vic in Melbourne is seeking dedicated Disability Support Workers to deliver person-centered supports for children and adults with diverse abilities, including autism and complex behaviours. You will enable choice, promote dignity, and work in community-based settings, with 1:1/2:1 support across Long Forest and western suburbs.

Requirements include a Certificate III in Disability or working towards within 12 months, NDIS checks, a valid driver’s license, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• NDIS Workers Screening Check is required.
• NDIS Worker Induction modules and Infection Control module completed.
• Signed NDIS Code of Conduct.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Certificate III in Disability or working towards within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to clients.
• Help clients with mobility and transportation needs.
• Administer medication and monitor health conditions.
• Assist with meal preparation and household tasks.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure the best possible care for clients.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
