Job summary

Westpac Group in Sydney is seeking an Audit Manager who loves hands-on data work to turn analytics into actionable audit insights across Consumer, Business & Wealth portfolios.

You will design analytics-driven risk-based audits, use Alteryx, SAS and SQL, and build strong stakeholder relationships while contributing to continuous improvement of audit methods in a hybrid work model (3 days in office, 2 remote).

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on data analytics capability and judgement.
• Experience in audit and/or risk with understanding of controls.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and support risk-based audits across planning, scoping, testing and reporting.
• Use data analytics to interrogate large data populations and identify insights.
• Translate objectives into practical analytical approaches and communicate findings.
• Build trusted relationships with stakeholders to deliver insight-led outcomes.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of analytics capabilities and audit methodologies.
