Job summary

Westpac is seeking an Audit Manager in Group Audit CBW & Response to turning data into insight and apply analytics to audits. You will work across mortgages, credit, and business banking, using Alteryx, SAS or SQL to interrogate large data populations and assess control effectiveness.

A hybrid work model is offered with 3 days in office and 2 remote, collaborating with risk specialists and audit colleagues.

Qualifications

• Hands-on data analytics capability.
• Experience within audit and/or risk with ability to understand processes, risks and controls.
• Ability to translate objectives into analytical approaches and communicate findings clearly.

Responsibilities

• Deliver risk-based audits across lifecycle stages (planning, testing, reporting).
• Use data analytics to interrogate large data populations and assess controls.
• Build relationships with risk specialists and stakeholders to deliver insight-led outcomes.
