Job summary

AECOM is seeking an experienced Associate/Director level Mechanical Engineer to lead the Building Services team in Adelaide. You will direct multi-disciplinary design across health, defence, transport, and commercial sectors, ensuring technical quality and client satisfaction.

You will mentor engineers, develop the local Adelaide team, and collaborate with senior leaders to grow projects in ANZ. AECOM offers hybrid work options and a global platform for career growth.

Qualifications

15+ years in building services consultancy or contracting design.
Chartered status (CPEng) essential; other registrations highly regarded.
Proven leadership in multi-disciplinary project delivery and design oversight.
Strong knowledge of building services systems, standards and best-practice design.

Responsibilities

Lead delivery of complex multi-disciplinary projects across health, defence, transport, commercial, aviation and data-centre sectors.
Oversee mechanical and multidiscipline building services design and end-to-end project delivery.
Provide leadership, coaching and mentoring to junior engineers.
