Job summary

AECOM in Perth, WA is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join the Building Engineering team. You’ll deliver mechanical design across health, defence, transport, data centers, and other major building projects across ANZ, leading design packages and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.

You will mentor graduates, collaborate with senior engineers, ensure compliance with Australian Standards, and contribute to high-quality engineering outcomes while building strong relationships with clients.

Qualifications

• Chartered Engineer with professional body registration or working towards chartership.
• Experience in building services design and project delivery.
• Strong knowledge of Australian Standards and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design packages across major building projects.
• Deliver high-quality, cost-effective HVAC and building services designs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure design quality and documentation.
• Mentor graduates and junior engineers, fostering technical development.
