Job summary

Yo-Chi is hiring an Assistant Venue Leader for Top Ryde. The role is fast-paced and high-energy, shaping the team and customer experience across shifts.

Partner with the Venue Leader to keep operations ticking, manage labour and stock, and drive sales targets while upholding Yo-Chi's standards for quality and safety. Join a supportive team with real career progression in a family-owned Aussie brand.

Qualifications

• 2+ years leading teams in hospitality or retail.
• Genuine people person who can build a strong team.
• Hands-on, positive and accountable.
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Venue Leader to keep day-to-day operations running smoothly.
• Support sales, labour and COGS targets through venue management.
• Bring energy to every shift and ensure guests and team have a great time.
• Train, mentor and grow team members into future leaders.
• Uphold Yo-Chi's standards for product quality, service and cleanliness.
• Handle stock, ordering, cash handling, rostering and admin.
• Stay on top of food safety, WHS and compliance requirements.
• Problem solve on the fly and lead from the front during peak periods.
• Build a culture where the team shows up, works hard, and has fun.

We're on the hunt for an Assistant Venue Leader to help run the show at our Top Ryde venue. It's a fast paced, high energy environment where you'll play a key role in shaping the team and the customer experience.

The role:

• Partner with the Venue Leader to keep day to day operations running like clockwork
• Support sales, labour and COGS targets through smart, efficient venue management
• Bring the energy to every shift and make sure guests (and your team) have a great time
• Train, mentor and grow team members into future leaders
• Uphold Yo-Chi's standards for product quality, service and cleanliness
• Handle the operational essentials: stock, ordering, cash handling, rostering and admin
• Stay on top of food safety, WHS and compliance requirements
• Problem solve on the fly and lead from the front during peak periods
• Build a culture where the team shows up, works hard, and has fun doing it
